Kinàmàgawin Symposium: Surviving the Pandemic: Indigenous Approaches to Well-Being

The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement, formerly known as the Centre for Indigenous Initiatives, would like to invite the Carleton community to register for the upcoming Kinàmàgawin Symposium happening virtually on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Kinàmàgawin Symposium addresses timely topics chosen by students that are relevant to Indigenous Peoples and serves to empower students, staff and faculty at Carleton to further their knowledge and become a positive force for change.

This year’s theme, selected by Indigenous students at Carleton, is Surviving the Pandemic: Indigenous Approaches to Well-Being. The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement is excited to announce the two keynote speakers, Dr. James Makokis and Dr. Raven Sinclair.
